This has been a problem on and off for the last three years. It was better for a while when they had a live in dog sitter but now he’s quit, they’ve hired a couple of guys to do it while they swan off to their house in Spain. The dogs bark the whole time they’re on their own and I can’t take much more! It sounds like an over reaction, but it drives me crazy! Now summer’s finally arrived, everyone’s got their windows open which makes the problem even worse!
It’s gone eleven and I so want to go to bed, but there’s no point.

I would turn up the music, but I’ve got a small child and an elderly neighbour!
Can’t use earplugs because I won’t hear my son in the night.
Great suggestions, but I’m not prepared to go to the expense of installing air con (not so healthy as an open window anyway) and we’re not allowed double glazing because we’re in a listed building.
